New Goat Ensemble: News

Topless Goats at the city Underground 11/5/05 - November 5, 2005

Wow, is about the only thing you can say about Saturday's show. A great turn out with lots of past goat heads and a rock -n-roll dance review as well. The Goats starting off a little quiet at first but by the time the 2nd set rolled around, Otis and others were there to witness what the Goats are all about. Near the end of the evening during an all out rockin' version of Mom (Jimmy's Sub Shoppe Special) 3 anonymous fans mooned and flashed the Goats and company. Thanks to all of you who wandered out last Saturday evening - a Goat time was had by all.... So, in the meantime, Think Goat...

Underground City Tavern - Goat heads turn out - April 11, 2005

goats @ underground city tavern

The joint was jumpin' Saturday night when the Goats took the stage at around 11:30 pm at the Underground City Tavern. Starting out with NRBQ and quickly going into their own "goat" music for the next 2 hours...Some old time favorites from "Donde" (Donde el bano en su casa)
to new songs like "Better love your Woman" kept everyone laughing and having a goat time. Thanks to some of the "seasoned" fans from Springfield as well as the whole Decatur bunch and the folks from Pike County. The night was complete with the opening act of Micah Walk and Ben Bedford (great acoustic performance) to get everyone ready. Rumor has it Brian Reilly will be having the Goats return soon. We'll keep you posted.....In the meantime, think goat....
